In this new role for PMI, Arne will be responsible for setting the region’s brand vision, product and marketing based on local consumer needs while in alignment with global Stanley plans.
Arne was most recently the Merchandising Director for Tommy Hilfiger where he led the product and merchandising for the Tommy Sport apparel line driving cross-functional product creation and go to market implementation. Prior to that Arne spent 10 years with Nike EMEA in a variety of roles including Category Merchandising Director for Basketball and Senior Footwear Merchandiser for Converse.
In these roles Arne built regional lines and assortment strategies, influenced global collections to represent European consumer needs and guided marketing to implement successful go to market processes.
Arne holds a Master’s Degree in Sports Management from Universitat Bayreuth (Germany). A native German, he is fluent in English, French and Dutch….which he will certainly put to use working with Stanley’s 30+ distributors.
